The National Museum of Addis Ababa is home to our so-called missing link. The 3.2 million-year-old Lucy or Dinknesh. Australopithecus Afarensis was discovered in the Afar area of Ethiopia in 1974 & was named Lucy because the discoverers were listening to the Beatle hit Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds when she was found.
The Lucy room contains her bones & a lifesize model of this our missing link!
